Beat the Train

The MMBA Expo in Lansing was a huge success! We were able to encourage a ton of friends to come up to Lansing for information, camaraderie and great auction and swap meet items abound. BTT sold shirts, stickers and the MattD DVD.

Besides the commerce we also made several new friends and contacts to cyclists who still have not heard of the Beatthetrain concept. That means we will have more and more new people joining us for the rides this year.
Thanks to all the support from Gaby and everyone else who made the trip. Good to see everyone during these cold months.

Criterium Detroit City

The Criterium Detroit City is bringing high energy criterium style bike racing back to Detroit's city center. For a city with such an excellent bicycling community there has been one glaring omission for years: A USAC sanctioned race. We aim to change that in a big way, making CDC the best inaugural race that michigan has ever seen. We have an excellent course selected in the heart of the entertainment district. It's very easy to get to, there is ample parking and best of all it's very close to tons of great bars and restaurants. Downtown Detroit boasts and impressive list of 130 bars and restaurants in a single square mile.
